From broken screens to battery problems, things can go wrong with smartphones from time to time. But which models released between 2007 to 2022 are the easiest to fix at home? For each smartphone in our table below, we’ve calculated how easy or hard it is to fix yourself based on two factors sourced from DIY tech repair website iFixit.com: the proportion of the model’s repairs that are rated ‘easy’ or ‘difficult’ to carry out and the average time it takes to carry out a repair job.
